These terms apply to everyone who uses this website and the ZGEN members’ area. ZGEN is the shared alumni network of the Zell programmes at the University of Michigan, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and Reichman University. By using the site you accept these terms.
Who can join
The members’ area is for alumni and current participants of the three Zell programmes. We confirm eligibility with the programmes, and may decline or withdraw access.
Your access is yours alone
Sign-in codes are sent to your email address and are personal to you. Please do not share them. Tell us at info@zgenevents.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
Other members’ details
Through the network — at events, or when Zellda introduces you to someone — you will come across other members’ contact details. They are shared so members can help each other, not for commercial use. Please do not:
- compile, copy or share lists of members
- use members’ details for marketing, commercial recruiting or bulk messaging
- add members to mailing lists without asking them first
Reaching out to someone individually, for a genuine reason, is exactly what the network is for. Mass outreach is not. If these rules are broken, we may remove your access.
Events
Events may have limited places, costs, and their own cancellation terms, which we will tell you at the time. Registering is not a guarantee of a place. Some events are run with partners, whose terms will also apply.
Partner benefits
Discounts and offers are provided by independent companies, not by ZGEN. We do not control their products, prices or service, and we are not responsible if an offer changes or ends. Any dispute is between you and that company.
Content
This site, its text, images and design belong to ZGEN, the programmes, or our licensors. You may read and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Anything you submit, you confirm you have the right to send, and you allow us to use it to run the network.
Behaviour
Please use the site lawfully and treat other members decently. Do not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, or misrepresent who you are.
Availability and liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or from any partner benefit or event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending access
You can ask us to remove your access at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if you are no longer eligible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [PLACE] have exclusive jurisdiction.
